Hiking cooker

"Piccolo" hiking cooker from the company Bussard

The “Piccolo” cooker produced by the company Bussard is packaged in a square cardboard box (6.5 x 10.7 x 10.7 cm), its top presenting a special design consisting of geometrical forms and the “Bussard” company logo. The convenient utensil made it possible to prepare a small hot meal on the go. Its handy size and low weight (70 g) makes the hiking cooker suitable for carrying in one’s luggage. The packaging contains a round cooking structure made of metal, a can opener and a can with fuel tablets. A manual describes how to heat up a satisfactory meal in a tin can on the cooker. Canned fuel tablets are required to use the cooker. They were placed on the round metal structure and then ignited. The hiking cooker was a factory design and sold as a complete package for only 2.30 Marks.
