Needle set

The presented set of needles in a cardboard box in the shape of a suitcase contains differently sizes needles and a threading aid. The flat folder can be flipped open and closed with a small strap. The cover is printed in a suitcase design: brown, with a leather strap, handle and colourful stickers. This design is also continued on the rear side. The front also presents a label with the lettering “Nadelmappe Koffer” (“Needle-folder suitcase”). On the inside, the contours of signs, the sun, a car, a steamship, an aeroplane and a train are visible. The set’s small size makes is suitable for travel purposes, to carry out small sewing tasks. The sewing set’s design also refers to a journey and may have been bought as a souvenir.
