Photo album

The photo album with a colourful material cover was designed with the greatest care. It contains memories of a family holiday to Haselbach in the Thuringian Forest in 1961. In addition to photographs and postcards, the souvenir album also contains cut-out images, a coaster from an inn and an entrance ticket. The album’s individual card pages are separated by parchment paper with a spider-web pattern. The black and white photos with serrated edges present typical holiday motifs, such as landscapes and members of the family standing in front of sightseeing attractions. The album comes from a time when holiday experiences could not be immediately shared with friends on social media. They required a long development process until the arranged album was finished and the holiday report could be presented.
